General Over-Arching Rules

1. We offer free submissions, however these are treated with very low priority and there is a very small chance of getting in for free submissions. For the best chance to get accepted withing a reasonable time, please try the Express Review.

a. For express reviews and featured links, there is a small editorial fee. However, a link may still be rejected without full refund if it does not pass the editorial scrutiny. Some or all refund is possible depending on the editors discretion.

2. A fairly strict interpretation of the rules will be followed when reviewing submitted links. This means even minor errors like poor spelling, incorrect caplitalization will most likely get rejected without full review. The stricter rules make a better, "cleaner" directory.

3. Any Website wishing to be in this directory must have a verifiable contact email, phone and mailing address. A website that does not provide ALL these forms of contact will be declined.

3. If you don't like the rules, that's tough.

Content Rules Links and Articles

1. No adult/ porn related websites (this would include "Escort services").
2. No gambling related websites.
3. No racist, hateful or otherwise politically disturbing websites.
4. Art/ artist sites with modest nudity will be decided case by case.
5. Online pharmacies or mail-order drug sellers are not allowed. Actual brick and mortor pharmacies who do not sell online or via mail-order will be considered.

The following types of websites, as determined by an editor, will be rejected.

6. Sites that are mostly or solely designed to be for Ad-Sense advertising or similar pay-per-click.

7. Annoying pop-ups. Pop-ups = automatic rejection.

8. Any false or misleading information as determined by the editors.

9. Sites will minimal content and only external links leading to other sites.

10. Sites that are exlusively designed for affiliate leads with little or no legitamate content.

11. Any site with very little content. Such as a blog with only 3 or 4 posts.

12. Any site that improperly or illegally uses another company's established product trade mark in the link title.

13. Sites that are cloned, scraped, or otherwise plagerized copies of other websites. This includes sites with "spun" articles that can be detected.

14. Sites that just look fake and have no real value.

15. Sites with no detectable history or are too new. This includes sites with no Google PR (no PR is different that PR 0; PR 0 may be allowed, no PR at all or worse will be banned immediately.

The editors of this website reserve the right to accept or deny ANY link or article for any or no reason.

IF ANY WEBSITE IS IN VIOLATION OF ANY OF THE ABOVE IT WILL BE DELETED WITHOUT REVIEW.

Review process and approval

1. May take up to 90 days (free links). Express Review and Featured, 48 hours or less.
2. You must confirm your email address within 3 days by the automated email when you submit your link. If it is not confirmed in 24 hours it will be automatically deleted from the queue.

Standards and Criteria (strictly enforced)

ALL LINKS MUST BE ENGLISH LANGUAGE. ALL WEBSITES SUBMITTED MUST HAVE AN ENGLISH VERSION.

1. Title/ Anchor text must be no more than 3 - 5 words. Must be a properly capitalized title, not a list of keywords.
2. Description must be:
    a. Fairly objective and straight forward. Some self promotion is allowed, but over doing it will get your site rejected.
    b. Do not use superlatives like "best, top, awesome"
    c. Do NOT use "CALL TO ACTION" phrases. i.e. "buy the best selling brands now!"
    d. Descriptions must be limited to 300 characters or less.
    e. Lists of keywords in the description (or Title) will be rejected.
    f. URLs, phone numbers, mailing address must not be included in the Title or Description.

-- Think "DMOZ" with a little more liberty when writing your title and description.

3. All submissions subject to minimal edit. Most that need more editing are simply rejected.

4. If the editor finds the title, description, URL or category choice unacceptable, it will be deleted from the queue with or without notice.

5. If the description is poor or violates the above rules, the submission will be rejected.

6. "Deep links" are accepted, however only one instance of your domain can appear anywhere in the link directory; so if you want to use an interior page of your site as your URL, make it a good one. (FYI: "deep links" are links other than the domain home page. Ex. http://www.zindexica.com/latest-links.html is a "deep link" because it points to an interior page of the website.)

If your site is rejected, you must resubmit it just like the first time. We do not save any records of rejected or deleted links. Once they are gone, they are gone. Do Not email asking WHY? Just read over the rules and try again. Persistant emails demanding answers will get your IP banned.

Remember: Its a directory listing, not a marketing ad.

Articles (Paid Only)

1. All articles are paid submissions for editorial review.

2. Articles must be relevant to the category they are submitted to.

3. The article must be well written in standard English.

4. All articles are checked for plagiarism.

5. Upon Acceptance the approved article will appear in the article section of the relevant category.

6. If rejected, a full refund will be issued.

7. Articles may be edited for quality.

8. Link Policy:

a. Two in-text links are allowed within the body of the article. One addtional Link is allowed in the author/ signature section.

b. Websites being linked to will be checked for quality. An article may be rejected for the the website links or the websites being linked to regardless of other quality checks.

9. By submitting the article the submitter claims ownership of the article and offers Zindexica publishing and editorial rights.

10. Once an article is approved, no refunds may be given for any reason.

11. The editors reserve the right to approve or reject any article submission for any reason or for no reason.
