Directory Submission Rules

Please read this in its entirety before submitting your site to the directory.

1. Zindexica does not permit the following categories of web content: pornography; gambling; occult; gay or lesbian; warez; media-sharing (Kazaa); racist; anti-national; illegal content; sites containing unmonitored forums, chat-rooms or blogs; sites containing profanity; non-English language sites regardless of content; any mature-audience/ sexual content; or any other website content deemed inappropriate by the editor. 2. Zindexica does not allow websites that associate, advertise or otherwise support the above restricted categories.
3. Providing a false or invalid email address will automatically disqualify your site.
4. Directories and Affiliate-only promotion sites: Websites that have little or no original content but rather are primarily affiliate-advertising, copy-cat, clones, free-for-all link directories and the like, will not be approved. If you have original content such as articles and useful information, your site will have a better chance of approval. Web directory sites must have guidelines posted on their site. Free-for-all link farms will be rejected.
5. SEO Spamy: Sites that use spamy blackhat SEO tactics will not be permitted. Webmaster discretion advised.
6. Redirected Sites: Sites that use any type of redirect will not be approved. With the exception of legitimate 301 redirects, if a redirect is discovered after inclusion the website will be banned from our index.
7. False claims and any indication of dishonesty will exclude your site. [2]
8. Multiple URLs pointing to the same site will not be permitted. Submit only one URL for each website.
9. The submitted link must point to your home page only. Deep Links are available for a fee.
10. Multiple category submissions for the same site are not permitted at this time.
11. For free site submissions all submissions are totally free, however approval time is much longer. Free or 'general' listings must link to the home page of your site.
12. Titles and descriptions must not contain promotional language such as: the best; greatest; the only; etc. Keep your title and description brief and well written. Poorly written titles, descriptions or lists of keywords will not be permitted.
13. Sites under construction, poorly coded (major problems), containing broken links, or any other technical hindrances will not be approved.
14. You must be the owner or authorized webmaster of the website submitted.
15. By submitting to Zindexica you are agreeing to receive occasional email notifications and announcements from Zindexica only. We do not share or distribute email addresses to anyone.
16. Zindexica editors reserve the right to disapprove any site for any reason without notice prior to or after inclusion.
17. Free listings: (reciprocal only) approved websites will have a lifetime link for as long as the site exists, the reciprocal link is maintained, and these rules are followed.
18. Express Listings: General listing submissions receive faster review process for permanent general links.
19. Featured Listings: approved Featured Links are billed monthly at the current rate and are limited by space.
20. Deep Links Listings: approved Deep Links pay a one time fee and receive a life time link for as long as the site exists and these rules are followed.
21. Refund Policy: for Featured Link, Deep Links, Site Sponsors and Express Listings a 100% refund is available if your site is INTIALLY rejected. This means if your site does not qualify for listing in zindexica.com web directory before it is ever accepted you will receive 100% of your payment back. If you have read the rules and your site seems to qualify, you should not have any need of a refund. If you initially qualified and your site was included but your site changes and becomes disqualified you will be notified and given time to correct the problem. If you cannot correct the problem, no refund will be issued.
22. If you do not agree with any part of these rules, please do not submit your website.
23. These rules are subject to change with or without notification.

Appendix

1. Certain 'controversial' websites promoting 'grey-area' products, services or opinions will be highly scrutinized and are not likely to be accepted for inclusion. Some examples of this are: "pay-day loans" ; "health products"; inflammatory political or religious rhetoric; opinion blogs or websites that make unsubstantiated/ un-referenced claims; sites by their subject matter indicate that they may include inappropriate content at a later date (ex. funny video blogs); sites where the content is suspected of being plagiarized; and any other questionable content at the editor's discretion.

2. A website that makes a direct claim on the site, yet there is evidence that this claim is untrue, is being intentionally deceptive and this sort of thing is not tolerated. Ex. Site claims to get your site listed in Google in the #1 spot in 1 hour, but does not inform the visitor that they can do the same thing themselves using AdWords. This is an intentionally scammy offer and therefore deceptive.
